In a beautiful two-tone, French marle linen, this classic Elk pant closes on one side with feature, natural Corozo nut buttons and has a clean, flat finish. The leg has a wide silhouette and is perfect as a base for any top or shirt. This fabric is a custom Elk weave and is a great update on our classic single colour linen pant options.

Material

100% French Linen

This garment has been crafted from 100% French Linen, using two different colours throughout the weave to create a unique colour effect.

Linen is a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.

Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Linen is a renewable and biodegradable fibre.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe, ethical and sustainable.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.

Size and Fit

The waist band and hip on this pant has a fixed, flat finish and is a regular fit. The leg flares into a wide shape with a relaxed fit. Please check the waist and hip measurements to choose your best size; we do recommend you take your usual size. Linen will also soften naturally with wear. Please note that because of the side button design these pants do not have pockets.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
