The Valter Skirt is a creative, fluid design which billows beautifully across the body with a striking, all-over abstract print. The flattering, A-line shape is achieved through a series of fine pleats constructed all the way around the flat waistband, with handy side pockets and a neat hem band to maintain the shape and structure. This skirt is a great year-round wardrobe piece, easily styled and a fine or chunky sweater throughout the cooler months or with a T-shirt or tank for warmer days.

54% ECOVERO™ Viscose & 46% Viscose Rayon

This smooth, floaty fabric has a matte finish that gives it the perfect versatility to dress up or down. Colours and prints have a vibrant finish, while the lightweight nature of the fabric provides comfort and drape. Viscose has a smooth feel and a breathability that is perfect for trans-seasonal dressing. Please follow the care instructions on your garment so you can wear for many seasons to come.

Contains LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibres, derived from sustainable wood and pulp, coming from certifed and controlled sources.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres have been certified with the EU Ecolabel for textile products (license no. AT/016/001) as meeting high environmental standards throughout their life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and disposal. The manufacturing of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres generates up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose. According to Higg MSI™ tools, CO2 emissions and fossil resource use are approximately half that of the industry average.

A special manufacturing system enables LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres to be identified in the final product, even after long textile processing and conversion steps through the value chain.

The fibres used in this blend are renewable and biodegradable.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.  

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits. 

Size and Fit

This skirt fits true to size, with a gentle, billowy A-line shape throughout. The most important fit measurement to consider is the waist, as well as consideration of the overall length of the finish. The simple hem on this design makes it easy to take up if required.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
