Strom Linen Short

A classic, effortless, mid-length short. The Strom Shorts are crafted from a mid-weight French Linen these shorts, feature curved side pockets, a flat front waist band with adjustable internal drawstring. A gently gathered and elasticated waistband at the back for easy fit and comfort.

Material

100% French Linen 

This garment has been crafted from 100% French Linen, a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.

Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Linen is a renewable and biodegradable fibre. 

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance NZdits.

Size and Fit 

These shorts have a regular fit in the waist with an oversized fit at the leg opening. The elastic back and internal drawcord help with a flexible fit. The key fit points to check for best size are around both the waist and the hip.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
