Product Details

Our Poppy Jacket is a fitted, statement jacket with a lightweight, silky feel offering a contemporary sensibility with its cropped proportions. Featuring an in-house designed print which references the symbolic meaning of the poppy and its connection to sleep and peace with a contrasting coloured lining, this design is crafted from one of our preferred, sustainable fabrics and perfectly balances functionality and head-turning style. We recommend pairing with our Oslo Jeans or other wide leg pants.

Material

100% Viscose (50% LENZING™ Viscose)

This fabric has a silk-like satin appearance. The smooth finish perfectly drapes on the body without clinging, resulting in a floaty, luxurious garment. Viscose has a smooth feel and a breathability that is perfect in summer or worn under layers in winter. Please follow the care instructions on your garment so you can wear for many seasons to come.

Viscose is made from cellulose from timber that has been processed and spun into fine fibres. We are working with not-for-profit organisation Canopy to ensure that our forest-based fabrics are responsibly sourced from sustainable forestry. 100% of the Viscose fibres in this garment are from producers with a green shirt ranking according to the most current CanopyStyle Hot Button Report. These producers are considered low risk or have taken substantive action to eliminate risk of sourcing from ancient and endangered forests.

50% of the Viscose fibres in this garment are from LENZING™, who are leading the way in responsible viscose production. LENZING™ source 100% of the raw wood pulp material from sustainable forestry, and their innovative low impact viscose production process uses environmentally friendly energy sources, with high recovery rates of chemicals and complete treatment and purification of all wastewater.

The remaining 50% of the Viscose fibres in this garment are from green shirt rated producer, Bailu Group.

Maker

This style was made in China through production agent Eastlink Sales. Eastlink was established in 2006 by Mrs Crystal Wu. Crystal has a great team based in Shanghai who work with us to manage our development and production. They also act as the go between with the factory where our garments are made, Suzhou Miaoyun Garment Co Ltd. This factory is signed up to Sedex and has undergone a SMETA social compliance audit.

Eastlink are one of our keenest producers in terms of producing more sustainable product. They are actively assisting us with communication between fibre producers and mills where we are finding new materials that will form our ranges in the future.

Size and Fit

The fit of this jacket is intended to be a little more fitted, so we recommend taking your usual size to ensure it fits well across the bust, back and along the arms. Given the silhouette is a more cropped style, check the length and if you prefer a more relaxed fit, you could try taking a size up to allow for layering over knitwear and sweaters.
