For a subtle option, our Painted Poppy Necklace features a combination of metallic and matte painted finishes on timber pieces handmade by traditional craftspeople. Super lightweight, the decorated timber pieces are strung on light, thin, cotton cord with an adjustable strap with a slip knot feature. Consider this style a go-to for injecting a natural element to a colourful look. Pair with the matching Painted Poppy Earring.
100% Wood
This jewellery piece was hand made by skilled artisans in the Philippines, using responsibly sourced timber. Each wooden bead is hand turned and custom dyed, followed with a natural wax polish for surface protection.
The timber was grown in the Philippines in sustainably managed plantations that we have visited to learn more about where our timber comes from.
This piece is 100% handmade in Cebu, Philippines by a family-owned workshop called Earthworks, who have collaborated with ELK since 2004. Crafted from sustainable plantation timber, each bead is hand cut, shaped, dyed and then polished with a natural wax-based product and the finished pieces are extremely light.
