Our Nausta Tote is a spacious and stylish design crafted from semi vegetable tanned cow leather. This tote features strong belting leather straps that extend down the side of the bag, a metal clasp closure at the top of bag and a small internal zip pocket to secure your belongings. Our Nausta Tote has a flat base, allowing it to stand on the surface it is placed on. This everyday bag is perfect for carrying daily essentials to work or on weekends. *note scarf not included, just a suggested way to wear

Material & Makers Notes

BN have been a long-term supplier of Elk starting with a small collection in 2013. They are now one of our main suppliers of leather goods. All leathers are sourced from LWG tanneries which is an association that sets high industry standards and audits tanneries for environmental performance. Additionally, all products are passed by REACH standard regulations, meaning they are made with restricted levels of specific chemical substances in their goods.

They are a family business with all members of the immediate and extended family playing key roles. We visit BN at least twice a year and we have Elk agents on the ground working with them on transparency, quality and operational standards.

Semi Vegetable Tanned Cow Leather

To maintain the beauty of your Elk bag we recommend protective sprays and using a good quality leather conditioner to treat the product, which will increase its longevity. Do not put leather pieces on the ground or rub against abrasive surfaces. Leather is a natural material and will wear with age and use.
