The Kaari Cardigan is a wrap-style knitted cardigan with a cosy and relaxed look and feel, made from organic cotton and merino wool. The design features a bold, ribbed Ottoman style knit design with batwing sleeves. The press stud closure at the hem creates a low, V-neck look once closed. Thanks to the laidback and easy wearing silhouette, this cardigan pairs well with any number of outfits for a relaxed and cosy look. Wear open and loose or buttoned for a more tailored look.

Material

70% Organic Cotton 30% Merino Wool

This yarn has been crafted from a blend of soft merino wool and breathable, organic cotton fibres.

Certified organic cotton is grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers or hazardous pesticides, which protects biodiversity and waterways and builds and maintains soil fertility.
This organic cotton was grown in Turkey.

The wool used in this blend is responsibly farmed and verified non-mulesed. Merino wool is a very fine wool fibre that creates a soft, fluffy finish. It is breathable and temperature regulating, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer.
The wool in this blend was sourced from New Zealand.

The fibres in this blend are renewable and biodegradable. 

Maker

These knits were made by Hop Hing Woollen Sweaters Factory who we have been working with since 2007. They are a family-owned business established by the late Mr Tsui Senior in 1962. Now owned and managed by his son Jeff, they have their head office, development team and sampling in Hong Kong and their main manufacturing in Dongguan, China. 
 
We have a great, long-term working relationship with them. We are actively working to source the most sustainable yarns with them through Novetex and UPW. 

The factory is a member of Sedex and undergoes regular social compliance audits.  

Size and Fit

This cardigan is a wrap-style design with press stud closures and a batwing sleeve. The fit is designed to be loose and easy so those who prefer a neater fit should choose to go down a size. Please check the key fit points in the length and hem first as it is a tapered style.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
