The Janne Necklace has been handmade from sustainable plantation timber. Each bead has been carefully dyed and then hand shaped into a disc, making each piece unique. This style features mottle coloured beads, playing with light and darker shades. This 3 tier necklace ties around the neck with a ribbon allowing you to adjust the length.

Material & Makers Notes

This piece of jewellery is made entirely by hand by Zai Design Hive, a family run operation in the Phillipines. We have been working with Gil and his team since 2016. They specialise in making jewellery from quality resin, wood and other mostly natural materials. All pieces are made by skilled craftspeople in a factory that we visit annually. The wood is sourced from sustainable plantation timbers and the resin pieces are made by pouring liquid resin into silicone moulds which is then left to cure. Each piece is then cleaned, drilled and polished. Resin is extremely durable, light and isn't affected by liquids.

Drop is approximately 31cm.

Care Instructions

Avoid water and other liquids, do not store in direct sunlight. If milky spots or marks appear due to contact with liquid they can be removed and the original appearance restored using ELK's jewellery wax or another suitable natural polish.
