Frynser Dress

Product Details

The Frynser Dress is a clever style with a number of considered details for added comfort. Printed on a blended viscose containing verified Lenzing fibres, the artwork was created by an Elk collaborator in Cologne. The design features a high boat neck, batwing sleeves that cover the shoulders, invisible zip at the side seam for easy wear and darts in the front and back for shaping at the waist. Wear in cooler weather layered over tights and boots or with trainers for a more day wear look.

Material

62% ECOVERO™ Viscose 38% Viscose Rayon

This smooth, floaty fabric has a matte sheen that gives it the perfect versatility to dress up or down. Colours and prints have a vibrant finish, while the lightweight nature of the fabric provides comfort and drape.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ Viscose fibres are derived from sustainable wood and pulp, coming from certified and controlled sources.

LENZING™ ECOVERO™ fibres have been certified with the EU Ecolabel for textile products (license no. AT/016/001) as meeting high environmental standards throughout their life cycle: from raw material extraction to production, distribution and disposal. The manufacturing of LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres generates up to 50% lower emissions and water impact compared to generic viscose. According to Higg MSI™ tools, CO2 emissions and fossil resource use are approximately half that of the industry average.

A special manufacturing system enables LENZING™ ECOVERO™ branded viscose fibres to be identified in the final product, even after long textile processing and conversion steps through the value chain.

We are working with not-for-profit organisation Canopy to ensure that all our forest-based fabrics are responsibly sourced from sustainable forestry and preference those with a green shirt ranking according to the most current CanopyStyle Hot Button Report. Our partnership with Canopy includes a commitment to ensure all of our viscose products have not been sourced from ancient and endangered forests. Our traceability systems confirm the viscose fibres in this garment are from green shirt rated producers.

The fibres used in this blend are renewable and biodegradable.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits.

Size and Fit

This dress has a regular fitted upper body with a slimmer fit from the waist down. Featuring sleeves that cover the shoulder. There is an invisible zip in the side seam to maintain shape.The main fit point to check is in the waist and hip. We recommend you take your usual size.
