Our Fredine Bag combines the practicality of day-to-day functional details with a stylish approach, thanks to the use of natural colours and twist handle design. With slightly textured leather that is soft and supple, this style also features an internal pocket, zipper closure and is lined in cotton for comfort. The innovative twist handle design will be sure to earn you compliments, while the colour tones will allow for versatility in styling and wear.
Cow Nappa Leather
Leather is a natural, renewable material made from animal hides that have been preserved and softened through a tanning process. We select our leathers based on their properties and the intended application. Leather lasts a long time, ages well and is easy to care for and repair. Unlike many synthetic materials, leather develops patina over time and gets better with age. Buying a well-made leather product can be considered an investment and supports the slow fashion ethos of “buying less, buying better”. Leather can be recycled or upcycled, and once it reaches the end of its lifecycle it is biodegradable.
Chromium VI is not used in any tanning processes for our leathers.
BN have been a long-term supplier of ELK starting with a small collection in 2013. They are now one of our main suppliers of leather goods. All leathers are sourced from LWG tanneries which is an association that sets high industry standards and audits tanneries for environmental performance. Additionally, all products are passed by REACH standard regulations, meaning they are made with restricted levels of specific chemical substances in their goods.
They are a family business with all members of the immediate and extended family playing key roles. We visit BN at least twice a year and we have ELK agents on the ground working with them on transparency, quality and operational standards.

Based on a 8.5" H x 13" W size laptop.
To maintain the beauty of your ELK bag we recommend protective sprays and using a good quality leather conditioner to treat the product, which will increase its longevity. Do not put leather pieces on the ground or rub against abrasive surfaces. Leather is a natural material and will wear with age and use.
