The Colino Pant is a fixed waist, regular fitting pant with a paper bag-style, tie-up waist. With a slightly dropped crotch for comfort, the laid-back silhouette is given a more tailored finish with clever front tucks that run into the waistband and faux back pockets for added interest. These pants look great when styled with a simple T-shirt tucked in for a contemporary, day-to-day outfit.

Material

100% French Linen

This garment has been crafted from 100% French Linen, a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear.

Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits. 

Size & Fit

The pants fit true to size so take your usual size. If you have a smaller waist, you can pull the tie in tighter to create a more paper bag appearance. The key points to check for the best size are the waist and hip. These pants have a hidden zip at the back for a smooth finish. They can be taken up if too long. Linen will naturally soften with wear.

All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference. To work out what size will suit you best, flat measure an item that fits you well and use this as a guide. Please contact us if you have any questions or need more information.
