Blossa Linen Dress

Made from 100% luxurious French linen, the Blossa dress is the perfect day dress. A slightly dropped, set-in sleeve allows for comfort when worn with a jacket.  A button and elastic loop fastening means the sleeve stays in place when pulled up. A waist seam with an internal drawcord gives versatility with pockets adding functionality. Gather it in for a more defined finish or wear loose for more casual comfort. A simple, linen dress is always one to go back to again and again.

Material

100% French Linen

This garment has been crafted from 100% French Linen, a natural fibre from flax grown in the northern regions of France. Linen is a light, breathable fabric that is durable and strong. It wrinkles easily which is part of its appeal, it is easy to care for and becomes softer with age and wear. Flax is a highly productive crop requiring minimal water, herbicides or pesticides to grow, making it a better environmental choice than many other natural fibres, such as conventionally grown cotton. Linen is a renewable and biodegradable fibre.

Maker

This garment was designed in Melbourne by the ELK team and made by Tongxiang Jimmy Fashions in China. Jimmy has worked with us since 2010 making both woven and knitted apparel. Jimmy is actively working with us to make workplace improvements to ensure the factory is safe and compliant.

The factory is signed up to Sedex, and undertakes regular SMETA social compliance audits. 

Size and Fit

The dress is a relaxed fit and has been designed to be midi-length. The key fit points to check for best size are in the bust and around the (relaxed) waist as well as the length of the dress. Linen will soften naturally with wear. All garments are measured flat (not on body) and then doubled (except the length) to calculate the total circumference.
